WHO ARE WE?
The Quiet Room Collective was formed upon the desire to be a part of telling the stories that are often unheard.
Stories that centre women and queer people as they navigate love, resilience, friendship, courage and defiance.
It is our aim that in our theatre, experiences that might be considered taboo are understood instead as simply human.
our Founder &
artistic director
Ella is an actor living and working on Gadigal Land and a recent graduate of Actors Centre Australia.
Originally from Victoria's Mornington Peninsula, she brings over a decade of experience as a live singer, with a strong foundation in classical and contemporary theatre.
Ella has spent the last few months teaching with Inner West Drama and stage managing their junior musical, whilst also auditioning for projects and working away at TQRC on her off days.
Ella is passionate about work that challenges audiences and values collaboration, precision and storytelling. She believes in platforming the voices of those who often go unheard, which is what brought about the motto of our theatre company;
Quiet rooms. Loud stories.
